Kevin Stillson, the Missionary for Lutheran Leadership Development, is your source of information and inspiration. He is a full-time member of the Answer The Call Mission, and serves as a resource and a mentor. He will help you connect with people who are answering God's call to ministry, other mentors, pastors and people who are currently in seminary.

WHAT ABOUT MONEY?

The practical side of answering a call to the ministry is finding the money to pay for the education required. Answer The Call provides help in two ways: The ELCA Fund for Leaders in Mission has awarded 56 full-tuition scholarships totaling $745,000. The Fund has received more than $15 million in gifts and deferred gift commitments. Plus, 30% of Answer The Call Campaign dollars go to the Fund, so your scholarship opportunities are increasing every year. SD Pastors' Seminary Debt Reduction has set a goal to reduce or eliminate the seminary debt of pastors who commit to a minimum of five years service in the South Dakota Synod. People all over South Dakota are giving to this program through the Answer The Call Campaign because they believe in the future of our church.
