When You Give a Gift to Answer The CallYou will receive a letter acknowledging your gift from the Director of Development and Campaign Chairman Richard Ekstrum. The original copy of the gift agreement, dated and signed will be delivered to you. The second original will be kept by the South Dakota Synod ELCA, or the ELCA Foundation. Permission or instructions about publicly announcing the gift will be recorded and filed for future reference, except through regular publication of the Answer The Call campaign. Your gift will be reported at the next Campaign Board meeting. The Board will also be given information regarding the expected value of the gift and the timetable for receipt. The South Dakota Synod, ELCA has authorized the Answer The Call Campaign. The Synod is a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) charity. We adhere to the policies and procedures of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives Code of Ethical Principles and Practices.
